***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Today, at the very outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition and has requested that some directions may be issued to the Trial Court to expedite the trial.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.

The Trial Court is, however, directed to make strenuous efforts for concluding the trial at the earliest preferably within a period of 6 months from today.
