(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents especially respondents No.2 and 3 to notionally promote the petitioner to the post of Electrician with all consequential service and monetary benefits w.e.f. 02.11.1988, by considering his certificate of Diploma in trade of Electrician issued by District Rural Development Authority (DRDA) and to decide the representation dated 27.02.2026 (Annexure P-16). Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition.
