(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to decide the representation dated 14.03.2019 (Annexure P1) for taking action against respondent No.4 and to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members at the hands of private respondents.

The petitioner, who is a Panch in the village states that on some proceedings of the Gram Panchayat, his signatures have been taken without recording the same and in this respect, he has already given a complaint to the Block Development and Panchayat Officer of the Block Kot Isse Khan.

From the bare perusal of the FIR, no cognizable offence is made out.

The petition is accordingly dismissed.

The petitioner, if, has any grievance with regard to the proceedings written by the Secretary can approach the competent authority under the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, for redressal of his grievance.
