(ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for directing the respondents to file status report of the FIR No.225 dated 21.07.2020 under Sections 326, 323, 148, 149 IPC registered at Police Station Sarhali, District Tarn Taran.

The petitioners herein had alleged that an FIR was got registered against Partap Singh son of Nachattar Singh, Deputy son of Mukhtiar Singh, Mehak Singh son of Khajan Singh and Resham Singh son of Niranjan Singh as they were adding a common passage of 10' into their land and when the complainant tried to stop them, injuries were inflicted by aforesaid persons to them. The FIR was got registered, however, no action was taken by the official respondents on the said FIR.

Notice of motion was issued on 02.07.2021 and status of the investigation in the aforementioned FIR was sought. No one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioners today, PANKAJ KUMAR 2022.01.07 16:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M No.21594 of 2021 (O&M) -2however, Mr. R.S. Khaira, AAG, Punjab appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions from ASI Gurmeet Singh, would submit that all five accused stand arrested. The matter has been investigated and the challan will be presented shortly.

In view of the above statement made by the counsel appearing for the respondents that all the accused stand arrested and the challan is likely to be presented soon, no further orders are called for. Consequently, the instant petition stands disposed of.
