(Oral) By this petition the petitioner has sought a direction to the respondents to transfer him from Central Jail, Bathinda to some jail in Amritsar District. Learned counsel has argued that in this regard the petitioner has also made a representation (Annexure P1) and that she would be satisfied if at this stage a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to decide the same within any reasonable time by passing a speaking order thereon. I find this to be a fair request.

Resultantly this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the representation(Annexure P-1) by passing a speaking order thereon within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. Since the main case has been decided, the Criminal Misc. Application, if any, also stands disposed of.
