On the instructions of ASI Surjit Ram, it has been informed that the petitioner has joined the investigation.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has been compromised. A copy of the compromise has been placed on record. Without expression of any opinion on merits of the case, it is sufficient to observe that the petitioner having joined the investigation, he can be granted the concession of pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the petition is allowed and it is ordered that in case of arrest of the petitioner, he will be released on bail to the satisfaction of the arresting officer subject to the condition that the petitioner will join the investigation as and when required by the police and will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation. In case on any subsequent stage, it is informed that the matter has not been compromised, it will be open to the complainant to approach this court for cancellation of this order.
