(Oral) In this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondents No.1 and 2 to take action on the inquiry report dated 04.05.2016 (Annexure P-10) submitted by the committee formed on the direction of respondent No.1 in terms of the provisions of 'the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal), Act, 2013 (for brevity 'the Act') and impose the punishment in view of the recommendations made by the Committee after considering the provisions of Section 13 of the Act. It has been further prayed therein that besides taking action, a considerable compensation in terms of Section 15 be also fastened upon respondent No.
7 and further if any, action contrary to the recommendations made in the inquiry report (Annexure P-10) has already been taken by respondents No.1 & 2, then the same be quashed keeping in view the peculiar facts and circumstances of the JAWALA RAM 2020.07.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the petition is disposed off with a direction to the official respondents No.1 & 3 to look into the matter and take appropriate action, if any required, on the inquiry report dated 04th May, 2016 (Annexure P-10).
In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the petition is disposed off with a direction to respondents No.1 & 2, to look into inquiry report dated 04th May, 2016 (Annexure P-10) and take necessary steps, if any required, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within two months, from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
