Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking directions to protect the life and liberty of the present petitioners, who are mother and uncle of Gursewak Singh and daughter of respondent No.4, who had been ordered to be given protection as they had performed marriage of their own will vide order dated 5.9.2017. Now the petitioners are also apprehending threat and representation made before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Sri Muktsar Sahib remains unattended.

Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners and perusal of record, respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sri Muktsar Sahib, is directed to look into the representation dated 7.9.2017 (Annexure P1) and take required action, if any, as per law. With the aforesaid observations made and directions issued, the present petition stands disposed of.
