**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 156 dated 04.08.2017 under Sections 376-B/506 IPC registered at Police Station City-1 Abohar, District Fazilka on the basis of compromise.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in fact the matter has been compromised between the parties in the aforesaid FIR and the complainant would have no objection in case the proceedings are quashed.

CRM-M-34899-2018 -2objection in case the FIR is quashed since the matter between them has been compromised immediately after the registration of the FIR and as on date challan has not been presented.
I have heard learned counsel for the parties as well as learned counsel for the State and in view of the fact that the matter is still under investigation and the final report is yet to be prepared, the parties are directed to appear before the Investigating Officer on 23.08.2018 and make their statements therein, who will then investigate the matter in accordance with law.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
