(ORAL) Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks cancellation of anticipatory bail granted to respondent No. 2 by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Ludhiana vide order dated 5.1.2018 in FIR No. 392 dated 28.10.2017, registered under Sections 420, 177, 120-B IPC, Police Station Focal Point, Ludhiana.
At the outset learned counsel for the petitioner submits that compromise has been effected between the parties and he may be permitted to withdraw the petition.
