Versus
State of Haryana
...Respondent
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S. MADAAN Present:- Mr. G.S. Sidhu, Advocate for the petitioner.
Mr. Gaurav Bansal, AAG, Haryana *** This is a petition for regular bail moved by petitioner Gurjeet Singh @ Geeta, an accused in F.I.R. No. 51 dated 23.4.2015 for offences under Sections 302, 323, 341, 148, 149, 427 of the Indian Penal Code registered with Police Station Bara-Gudha, District Sirsa, who is facing trial in the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Sirsa.
Learned State counsel has informed that out of 30 witnesses cited by the prosecution, 6 are left to be examined and next date of hearing fixed by the trial Court is 19.1.2018. It being so, I am not inclined to accept the petition as the trial is likely to be concluded in near future. The petition stands dismissed. However, the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously by giving short adjournments preferably within a period of three months from the receipt of copy of this order in the Court.
