The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioner and her family members from the hands of respondent No.5, with a further prayer to transfer the investigation of the case bearing FIR No.279 dated 21.12.2025 registered under Sections 333, 351(2), 324(4), 191(3), 190, 126(2), 115(2) and 118(1) of BNS, 2023 (corresponding Sections 452, 506, 427, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324 IPC) at Police Station Sadar Kapurthala, District Kapurthala to some senior officers as local policies helping the accused persons. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.3 to look into the representation dated 13.12.2025 (Annexure P-5), within a time NEETU RANI 2026.05.06 17:35 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment PHHC, CHD

Without adverting to the merits of the case and in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, respondent No.3Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala, is directed to look into the representation dated 13.12.2025 (Annexure P-5) and decide the same expeditiously in accordance with law.

The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 7.
