**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J (ORAL) This is a petition for quashing of FIR on merits. It is stated that a compromise has been effected. The matter was sent for mediation. Mediation had failed and subsequently the parties had arrived at a compromise. In view of this, counsel for the petitioner submits he does not want to pursue with the petition and he will file a fresh petition for quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise. Counsel submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a fresh one. Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
