The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondent. 2.

After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner would be contented and satisfied in case their representation/ complaint dated 20.03.2025 (Annexure P-4) be decided in a time bound manner 3.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Amandeep Singh Samra, AAG, Punjab, who is present in Court accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State. 5.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have perused the record. 6.

In view of the above limited prayer made and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the respondent No.3-Commissioner of Police Jalandhar, District Jalandhar is directed to decide the complaint dated 20.03.2025 (Annexure P-4) within a period of 7 days by passing a speaking order in accordance with law.
