(Oral) The precise grievance of petitioner is that despite the fact that she had given a representation against her in-laws that they are harassing her on account of bringing less dowry, the police is not taking any action. A detailed representation dated 20.07.2016 (P-1) in this regard is also pending with the S.S.P Pathankot. In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to look into the representation (P-1) of the petitioner, in accordance with law.
