(ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed for directing the official respondents to implement order dated 14.12.2023 (Annexure P-4) passed by respondent No.2 in compliance of order dated 16.08.2023 (Annexure P-3) passed by this Hon'ble Court in CWP No.6505 of 2023 titled as "Ranbir Singh and another vs. State of Punjab and others". The precise submission made by learned counsel for the petitioners is that in pursuance to the order passed by this Court dated 16.08.2023 in CWP No.6505 of 2023, the learned Collector-cum-Deputy Commissioner has passed the order dated 14.12.2023 by observing that the record be updated and compliance of the order of this Court be made. He submits that despite that no further action has been taken by the respondent-State for implementing this order. Notice of motion.

On hearing learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to approach the appropriate authority i.e. respondent No.2 by way of filing the representation for the redressal of their grievances as raised in the present petition. The respondent No.2 i.e. the Collector-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Patiala is directed to take appropriate action on the representation filed by the petitioners expeditiously in accordance with law.
