The petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing the respondents to immediately promote the petitioner on the post of Assistant/Accountant from the date, the juniors of the petitioner were promoted and to release all the consequent benefits accordingly.

Learned State counsel, at the outset, submits that the petitioner has been promoted to the post of Accountant and, as such, the petitioner's PARUL VERMA 2026.07.02 12:29 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

CWP-9751-2019 grievance stands redressed. Accordingly, it is contended that the present petition has been rendered infructuous and deserves to be disposed of as such. It is further submitted that the petitioner had already submitted a letter dated 08.11.2019 stating that he would withdraw the present writ petition. 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
