Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Baljeet Singh, has contended that the petitioner has since been convicted and sentenced for a period of 10 years in the present case vide judgment of conviction dated 27.08.2021 and, as such, the present petition has been rendered infructuous. Learned counsel for the petitioner also concedes this fact.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
