RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members at the hands of respondents No.5 and 6.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that purpose would be achieved, in case, respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar, is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 14.03.2019 (Annexure P-4) in a time-bound manner. Notice of motion.
On the asking of the Court, Ms. Sudeepti Sharma, Addl. A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State. Requisite number of sets of the paper-book be supplied to her during the course of the day.
