Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.116 dated 26.06.2015 under Sections 376 and 420 IPC, registered at Police Station Phase-I, SAS Nagar (Mohali).

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

From the record, I find that the FIR has been registered on the basis of complaint made by Jagjit Singh before the Court, which was sent to the police station under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. As per the allegations, present petitioner took away the daughter of complainant (prosecutrix) aged about 21 years by posing himself to be a big businessman and unmarried. CRM No.M-34189 of 2015 -2happened later on. It is also the allegation that under some intoxication, blank papers were got signed by the petitioner and he claimed his marriage with prosecutrix and also uploaded the photographs by hacking the facebook account of the daughter of the complainant.

Keeping in view the nature and gravity of the offence and in view of the fact that serious allegations are there against the present petitioner, I do not find it a fit case where petitioner is entitled to benefit of anticipatory bail.

Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
