Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to fix the date of regularization as 01.07.2011 instead of 10.06.2014 in pursuance to memo dated 02.02.2010 (P-2). Learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner submitted that at this stage, his client would be satisfied in case the legal notice dated 07.03.2022 (P-8) is decided expeditiously. Notice of motion to that limited extent.

Ms. Maloo Chahal, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, and raises no objection against the innocuous prayer of the petitioner. In view of the agreed stand taken by both sides, but without going into the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed off with direction to respondent No.2- Director General School Education Punjab (Punjab Information & Communication Technology Education Society), to SANJAY GUPTA 2022.05.10 17:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document -1-

Needless to say that in case there is a failure on the part of competent authority, petitioner would be at liberty to move an appropriate application for revival of this writ petition and the same shall be considered as per law.
