(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the Office Order No.28/HPGCL/Rectt.- 125/Vol-I dated 29.03.2024, passed by respondent No.3, vide which the claim of the petitioners along with other six candidates, has been rejected. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought, directing the respondents to consider the candidature for recruitment and to appoint one family member out of the family of petitioners on technical post in Rajiv Gandhi Thermal Power Plant as per Policy (Annexure P-1) of Power Department, Government of Haryana.
Learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned counsel for respondents No.2 to 4 submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous as the grievance raised by the petitioners has been substantially redressed.
