RAJIV SHARMA,J By way of preferring instant writ petition, the petitioner has sought mandamus directing respondent No.2 to allot alternative plot to the petitioner since the construction over the plot being earmarked to him is stated to be not feasible.

It is stated that the petitioner was allotted plot No.1271 in Sector 77, SAS Nagar, Mohali in the draw of lots being held on 20.8.2018 vide list dated 20.8.2018 (P.1). Upon the petitioner visiting the plot in question, he found that the same is already constructed one. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has already made a representation dated 17.10.2018 (P.5) for redressal of his grievance but no action has been taken thereon.
