Nasib Singh v. Manohar Lal
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH RSA No. 5006 of 1999 (O&M) DATE OF DECISION :- 28.10.2025 Nasib Singh (since deceased) through LRs ...Appellant
Versus
Manohar Lal
...Respondent
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIRINDER AGGARWAL Present:- None for the appellant.
Mr. Parit Aggarwal, Advocate for the respondent. *** VIRINDER AGGARWAL , J. (Oral) 1.
No one has appeared on behalf of the appellant. Notice was issued to the counsel previously representing the appellant but that notice has been received back with the report that client has taken away the brief but none else is present on behalf of the appellant. It seems that appellant is not interested in pursuing the instant appeal.
2.
In view of the above and given the prevailing circumstances, there seems to be no justification to keep the appeal on the docket, indefinitely. Accordingly, the instant appeal stands dismissed for want of prosecution with liberty to the appellant to revive the same, if have any grievance from this order, within a period of three months from today. 3.
Since the main appeal stands decided, the miscellaneous application(s), if any, stand disposed of accordingly.
