Petitioners are aggrieved by order dated 22.10.2013 passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar whereby their application for adjourning the case sine die was rejected. They contended before the court below that as there was a move to enter into one time settlement with the bank, the matter be kept pending. As this application was not accepted, they approached this court by way of instant petition under section 482 Cr.P.C. It appears that during pendency of this petition, one time settlement has been arrived at between the parties. An affidavit dated 15.03.2016 has been filed by D.T. Kinner, Assistant Manager, State Bank of India, SAMB, Ludhiana. In view of same, no further adjudication by this court is necessary. Admittedly, appeal is pending before the court at Jalandhar. Said court would be at liberty consider contention of the parties including one time settlement stated to have been arrived at between the parties. The court shall be at liberty to invoke section 147 of the Act, if deemed appropriate. Disposed of.
