(ORAL) Ms. Rashmi Attri, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, has joined the proceedings on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 in this case, in pursuance of the copies of this petition having been sent to the respondent-State in advance. She has sent the vernacular version of the the statement of both the petitioners as recorded by the police in connection with the representation (Annexure P-4) preferred by the petitioners, through email, which has been placed on the record. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the matter has been compromised between the petitioners and the private respondents and therefore, this petition has become infructuous and he seeks permission to withdraw the same.
