This is petition seeking protection to the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to move representation before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Mansa putting forth their grievance. On filing of the same, Senior Superintendent of Police, Mansa will look into their representation and take appropriate action in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to the petitioners from legal action taken in any civil, criminal or other proceedings initiated/pending against them in accordance with law.
