*** Sudhir Mittal, J. (Oral) Petitioner is allegedly running a beauty salon after obtaining a licence for the said purpose from the Municipal Corporation, Karnal. The said licence has expired and an application dated 12.02.2022 has been filed for renewal thereof but no order has been passed thereupon till date. Notice of motion.

Ms. Tanushree Gupta, DAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No. 1, 2 and 4 and waives service. Mr. Pritam Saini, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No, 3 and 5 and waives service. Considering the nature of order being passed, no reply is necessary to be filed.

The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.5 to consider the application dated 12.02.2022 (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law and decide the same by passing a speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
