Gagandeep Kaur v. State Of Punjab And Others
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH CWP No. 10837 of 2019 Date of decision : 22.05.2019 Gagandeep Kaur ....Petitioner V/s State of Punjab & ors.
....Respondents BEFORE : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA
Present:
Mr. S.K. Choudhary, Advocate for the petitioner. RAJAN GUPTA J.
On 08.11.2016, an advertisement was issued for recruitment of Wardens Male and Matrons Females. Petitioner applied in the category of SC M&B. After selection process was over, petitioner came to know that he has secured 25 marks. His main grouse is that respondent no. 3 who is less qualified than petitioner has been selected. While petitioner is a graduate, respondent no. 3 has passed only matriculation. Admittedly, selection process does not envisage additional marks for higher qualification. In view of same, petition is without any merit and is hereby dismissed. May 22, 2019 (RAJAN GUPTA) Ajay JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned:
