This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 184 dated 05.08.2017 under sections 21 of the Mining and Minerals Act 1957 at Police Station Meharban, District Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the State submits that pursuant to order dated September 15, 2017, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, order dated September 15, 2017 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. Disposed of.
