**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J This is a petition seeking protection and for handing over the investigation of the FIR to an officer not below the rank of Superintendent of Police.

State has filed the reply according to which cancellation report had been prepared in December 2017. It has also been mentioned that a complaint under Section 182 Cr.P.C had been submitted before the Court on 19.12.2017.

In view of this position, no directions are required to be passed. The petition is disposed of as infructuous.
