ASHOK KUMAR VERMA, J. (ORAL) The petitioner has filed the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, for grant of 04 weeks parole for attending the marriage of his brother and sister. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that marriage of real brother and sister of the petitioner, namely; Maan Singh and Kallo Devi, is fixed for 21.04.2023 and 01.05.2023, respectively. Presence of the petitioner at the time of marriage is essential for performance of the traditional rites and ceremonies. The marriage invitation card is also attached with the petition as Annexure P-1. Therefore, petitioner may be granted 04 weeks interim bail.

Learned counsel for the State has filed the status report received from SHO Police Station Kishangarhbas, District Bhiwadi, RISHU KATARIA 2023.04.20 14:33 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRWP-3660-2023 -2- 2023:PHHC:055430 Rajasthan, confirming the marriage of brother and sister of the petitioner on 22.04.2023 and 01.05.2023. The same is taken on record. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on interim bail w.e.f. 21.04.2023 to 02.05.2023, on furnishing of personal/02 surety bonds, out of which 01 should be a local surety, by him to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, concerned. The petitioner shall surrender before concerned jail authority on 03.05.2023.
