In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to respondents No. 1 to 3 to safeguard life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 6. 2.

Mr. Deepak Nayar, Advocate has filed Vakalatnama on behalf of respondents No. 4 to 6 in Court today. The same is taken on record. Office to tag the same at the appropriate place. 3.

The grouse of the petitioners is that they have moved representation dated 02.08.2017 (Annexure P-4) before respondent No. 2Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, but till date he has not taken any action upon the same.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the very outset contends that the purpose of the instant petition would be achieved, if respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, is directed to decide the Rishu Kataria 2017.10.25 12:05 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

In view of the above, respondent No. 2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, is directed to look into the matter and decide the representation Annexures P-4, moved by the petitioners, in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to both the parties, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
