CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA
Present:
Mr. Ram Pal Verma, Advocate for the petitioner.
Tribhuvan Dahiya, J. (Oral) The petition has been filed seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the office order dated 11.03.2025, Annexure P-8, whereby the petitioner's candidature for the post of Electronics Mechanic Instructor (Practical) Category No.32, has been rejected for want of requisite experience for the post.
2.
Apparently, as per Group C Service Rules, 2013, requisite experience for the post of Electronics Mechanic Instructor is, 'Experience should be in the concerned trade/field in an industrial establishment covered under Apprentices Act or in a recognized technical institution.' 3.
Undisputedly, the petitioner has worked in B.Ed. College as Science Laboratory Attendant. Since the College is not a Technical Institution, the experience gained there was not considered valid for the post in question. 4.
The only contention raised by learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner's experience in Science Laboratory should be considered valid for the post in question as per the Rules. 5.
Science Laboratory in a College of Education cannot be termed an Industrial Establishment covered under the Apprenticeship Act, nor is the SONIA BURA 2025.04.04 10:15 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-8749-2025 College a recognized Technical Institute. Accordingly, no exception can be taken to the impugned order rejecting the petitioner's candidature for want of requisite experience.
6.
In view thereof, the petition stands dismissed in limine. 27.03.2025 (TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA) sonia JUDGE Whether speaking/non-speaking?
