******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The matter has been amicably settled after parleys in Court. Under the settlement, petitioner has agreed to pay a sum of `8 lakhs to respondent no. 1 towards full and final settlement to his claim. In view of settlement between the parties, instant petition is disposed of. Petitioner will pay amount of `8 lakhs through demand draft or by deposit in account of respondent no. 1 within a period of four weeks from today. On payment of this amount respondent no. 1 will make statement before the Appellate Court for allowing the application filed by the petitioner seeking compounding of offence and on the statement of complainant, Appellate Court will proceed further in accordance with law. Parties are directed to to appear before the Appellate Court on 28.10.2018, which is stated to be the date already fixed there. In case petitioner fails to pay amount of `8 lakhs within a period of four weeks, the Appellate Court will proceed further to decide the appeal in accordance with law.
