State of Punjab .............Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH Present:- Mr.Kushagra Mahajan,Advocate for the petitioner Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.29 dated 14.2.2014 under Sections 21/22/61/85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,1985, PS C Division,District Amritsar, during the criminal trial in the FIR.

There was recovery of 95 intoxicant tablets from the petitioner. He was granted interim bail on 27.5.2014. Due to petitioner not appearing before the trial court on 26.9.2014 his bail bonds were cancelled and non-bailable warrants issued. Thereafter he made no efforts to appear on 7-8 succeeding dates until the making of application on 20.5.2015. In the meanwhile the petitioner has also been declared a Proclaimed Offender.

Counsel for the petitioner heard.

Due to culpable conduct of the petitioner, no ground for grant of anticipatory bail is made out.

Dismissed.
