**** MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (Oral) Due to the outbreak of pandemic COVID-19, the instant case is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks quashing of impugned demand notice dated 22nd May, 2020 (Annexure P-1). Admittedly, there has been no challenge to the Government of Punjab Notification Memo No. 7/29/2020, Col. Edu (2) Spl 101, dated 21.05.2020.

Faced with this situation, learned counsel states that she may be allowed to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to take recourse to the alternative remedies as may be available to the petitioner, in accordance with law.
