Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to respondents No. 1 and 2 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of respondent No. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 29.1.2015. Photographs of marriage ceremony are annexed as Annexure P-3. Certificate (Annexure P-3A) in this regard has been issued by Snatan Dharam Parchar Samiti (Regd.), Booth No. 255, MDC, Sector-4, Panchkula. He has further submitted that the petitioners have moved a representation to Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar (Annexure P4) but no action has been taken so far.
