' (')$ Prayer in this petition is to quash the action of respondents in not promoting the petitioner to the post of TGT English or TGT Sanskrit despite being duly eligible and entitled for the same. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No. 3 despite being junior to the petitioner has been promoted and petitioner has been wrongly ignored.
It is further submitted that despite submitting legal notice dated 01.06.2021 (Annexure P18), to the respondents, no action is being taken. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts the prayer for a decision on legal notice dated 01.06.2021 (Annexure P18), submitted by the petitioner, in a time bound manner.

Keeping in view the limited prayer addressed, facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits thereof, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority, to decide legal notice dated 01.06.2021 (Annexure P18) after affording an opportunity of hearing to respondent No. 3 and any other person who may be affected, by passing a speaking order, within six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
