This petition has been preferred by the petitioner, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family at the hands of respondent Nos. 4 to 7 and not to interfere in the personal life of the petitioner at the behest of respondents No. 4 to 7. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation/complaint dated 18.03.2025 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar City, District Jalandhar against respondent Nos. 4 to 7 but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar City, District Jalandhar to look into his representation/complaint and take appropriate steps at the earliest. 3.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar City, District Jalandhar to consider and decide the representation/complaint 18.03.2025 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
