Petitioners have sought a direction to respondents no. 2 to 4 to protect their life and liberty at the hands of their son, daughter-in-law and other relations.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Kewal Singh, who is present in court, submits that an inquiry has been conducted into the matter. It has been found that no cognizable offence is made out. There appears to be some property dispute between the parties. He further submits that in case any representation is received from the petitioners as regards threat to their life and liberty, same shall be promptly looked into by respondent no. 2.
