These cases involve similar issues and therefore, are being disposed of together by this common order and for the sake of brevity, the facts are being taken from CWP-10881-2007.

Prayer made in the present petitions for quashing of the impugned judgment dated 23.10.2006, whereby the special pay/special allowance allowed, was withdrawn and recovery ordered to be effected. 3.
CWP-3168-2002, reference to which was made in the index of the petition, involving the same issue along with CWP-3399-2002, have since disposed of on 14.02.2025, relying on the Division Bench judgment in the case of Krishan Kumar Singla vs. State of Punjab and Others, CWP-11341-2003, MOHIT 2025.05.02 15:30 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-7955-2005 (O&M) CWP-10881-2007 (O&M) -2decided on 20.09.2010, against which SLP was dismissed. 4.
In the case at hand, there is nothing in the written statement that the petitioner received the amount by making any misrepresentation or concealment of facts, however, learned State counsel submits that the petitioner was not entitled to the special pay on account of the fact that he was working as a Programmer nor a lecturer and the qualifications of both posts are distinct. 5.
In view of the above, the present petitions are disposed of in terms of the aforesaid.
