(proceedings conducted through video conferencing) ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards merits of the case, the petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur to look into the matter and to ensure that the representation dated 3.5.2021 (Annexure P-1) is looked into and is disposed of expeditiousely in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is any genuine threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps as warranted under law shall be taken so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner. A copy of this order alongwith copy of representation dated 3.5.2021 (Annexure P-1) be sent to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur for necessary compliance.
