By way of present petition filed under Section 482 CrPC, prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 and 2 to withdraw and transfer the proceedings related to complaint from Nawanshahr Police to the Bureau of Investigation Punjab Police, Punjab Police Headquarter at Chandigarh.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his client would be satisfied in case direction is issued to the respondents to decide the representation (Annexure P-1) moved at the instance of petitioner by passing a speaking order expeditiously.

Prayer seems to be justified.

Upon advance notice, Mr. Kewal Singh, Addl. A.G. Punjab appears on behalf of respondents and raises no objection to the innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner. 5.
