(Oral) After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to approach the trial Court for grant of regular bail. In view of the aforesaid submission, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to approach the trial Court so as to seek regular bail. In case, the petitioner surrenders before the trial Court within 10 days from today and moves an application for grant of regular bail, the trial Court shall endeavour to decide the same expeditiously, provided it is feasible to do so while adhering to all the safety measures as have been advised by the Health Authorities. It is clarified that safety of litigants, lawyers, officials of Court & of Judicial Officers is to be given priority and is not to be compromised.
