SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioner no. 1Manjit Kaur is married with respondent no. 8. She was thrown out from matrimonial house after giving beatings and respondent no. 4, who is father of petitioner no. 1, did not come to her rescue and asked her to go back to respondent no. 8. Fed up with her matrimonial strained relations with respondent no. 8, she started living with the family of petitioner no. 2-Om Parkash, who has given shelter to her. Now respondent no. 4father of petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 8 are lodging false cases with the police against petitioners in order to harass them. However, he has confined his arguments qua the relief seeking direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala to look into their representation dated 05.09.
2017 (Annexure P-4) addressed to Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana and take appropriate action in accordance with law. Learned counsel appearing for respondents no. 4 and 8 submits that petitioner no. 1 has left her matrimonial house and is Jitender Kumar 2017.09.
CRM-M-34621-2017 -2presently living with petitioner no. 2. The matter was reported to the police and petitioner no. 2 was arrested. He had promised to produce petitioner no. 1 before the police but never produced her. This petition has been filed only to get relieved of the direction given to him to produced petitioner no. 1 before the police.
Both the petitioners are major and are living together of their own volition. Respondents no. 4 and 8 or any other respondents have no reason to interfere in their life and liberty. So far as matrimonial relation of petitioner no. 1 with respondent no. 8 is concerned, respondent no. 8 will be at liberty to avail all the legal remedies available to him under the law.
Without going into merits of this petition, the same is disposed of with direction to respondent no.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala to look into representation dated 05.09.2017 (Annexure P-4), addressed to Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of copy of this order along with representation in his office.
