SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners against the wishes of parents of petitioner No.2 had married about three years ago and now blessed with a baby child. They are not being permitted to enter their house in village Jaania by brothers, mother and other relatives of petitioner No.2. A representation to this effect was made to Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran on 15.07.2018 on which no action has been taken so far.

In view of above submission of learned counsel for petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran, to look into the representation dated 15.07.2018 (Annexure P-5) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of copy of this order along with representation in his office. However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to the petitioners from any action taken in any civil, criminal or other proceedings initiated/pending against them in accordance with law.
