Case is being taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing due to Covid919 pandemic.

Prayer in the contempt petition under Sections 10 & 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India, is for initiating action against the respondent for his willful and deliberate disobedience of order (Annexure P91) dated 30.09.2020 in CRM9M No.30543 of 2020.

Learned counsel contends that vide order dated 30.09.2020 CRM9M No.30543 of 2020 was disposed of by directing the respondent to consider the representations submitted by the petitioners and decide the same, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible within a period of 02 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order but needful was not RAJNEESH SHARMA 2021.07.01 17:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP No.1169 of 2021 done, therefore the instant petition was filed but after the filing of the contempt petition, the respondent has furnished copy of order dated 13.05.2021 vide which representations submitted by the petitioners have been decided and the matter has been referred to the Crime Branch for appropriate action, in accordance with law, therefore, the petitioner does not wish to pursue the contempt petition and the same may be disposed of as not calling for any further orders.

In view of the respondent having taken a decision dated 13.05.2021 in terms of the orders of the High Court and referred the matter to the Crime Branch for appropriate action, in accordance with law, there is sufficient compliance with order dated 30.09.2020 passed in CRM9M No.30543 of 2020, therefore, no orders are called for on the contempt petition. 6.

Accordingly, in the circumstances, the contempt petition is disposed of as not calling for any orders.
