Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for some time, submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition at this stage, however, he further prays that keeping in view the custody period undergone by the petitioner, which is approximately three years, as well as the fact that out of the total twenty prosecution witnesses, ten prosecution witnesses already stand examined, by now; a suitable direction may be issued to the trial Court to expedite and conclude the trial in a time bound manner.

Keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Further, the trial Court shall make earnest effort to expedite and conclude the trial in the instant case FIR No.194 dated 11.09.2021, preferably within a period of six months, in accordance with law. 5.
