ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks quashing of impugned order dated 23.06.2021 (Annexure P-8), whereby services of the petitioner have been terminated due to non submission of Sports Gradation Certificate.

Répondent No.6-Haryana Staff Sélection Commission ("the Commission") advertised 18218 posts of Group D of different departments of State of Haryana. Petitioner being eligible, applied for the same. Petitioner participated in the selection process and has been selected under the ESP category on the post of Peon. He was directed to submit his Sports Gradation Certificate in terms of government instructions dated 25.05.2018 (Annexure P-4), by 31.08.2019. Aggrieved by letter dated 24.07.2019 (Annexure P-5), a numbers of persons filed writ petitions in this Court. Thereafter, Government of Haryana issued instructions dated 10.11.2020 (Annexure P-6). However, in compliance thereof petitioner was still not issued Sports Gradation Certificate and therefore, respondent-Commission terminated his services vide impugned order dated 23.06.2021 (Annexure P-8).

Petitioner submitted written application dated 30.09.2021 (Annexure P-11) to respondents to issue Sports Gradation Certificate. He SHALINI BHATIA 2022.05.14 15:23 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document.

also approached this Court by way of filing CWP No. 22961 of 2021 and this Court vide order dated 12.11.2021 (Annexure P-13) directed the competent authority to look into the grievance of petitioner. He then submitted representation dated 06.01.2022 (Annexure P-15) enclosing therewith newly issued Sports Gradation Certificate but to avail. Hence, the petition.

In the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner has tendered copy of notification dated 10.05.2022, which is taken on record as Annexure 'A'. Perusal of the same reveals that the date for submitting the Sports Gradation Certificate has now been extended up to 31.03.2022.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of with an expectation from the respondents to entertain the petitioner's Sports Gradation Certificate as there is no need to issue any notice and/or keep the proceedings pending before this Court. 6.

Needful exercise shall be carried out in terms of the aforesaid notification dated 10.05.2022 (Annexure 'A'), including verification of the sports certificate by the Department of Sports. 7.

Disposed of in above terms.
